Feeling a bit lonely in the night now. With not much homework to do and revise, I basically stare at my laptop for a few hours before I tire myself out and fall into my bed. I really miss home now. Just now, I searched yahoo on Singapore recipes. Was trying to find out how to cook more dishes and soups. All that I found was moderate in difficulty to cook but was very hard to find such ingrediants in France. I saw "Gong bao Ji Ding" recipe. It looked absolutely delicious and seemed easy to cook. However, I would need shrimp paste and dried chillies to cook this. Where the hell can I find this? The indian shop? Maybe I will take a look in the shop again soon.

I think I am very weird. At home, I prefer to listen to English songs. Since I reached France, I feel I need to hear chinese songs. Most of the songs I played on my laptop is Chinese. I only have a few chinese mps. Luckily, my friend has a cd full of chinese songs. Managed to curb my "chinese addiction" now. When I go back Singapore, I will go and ask my friends out for karaoke. Man, I really can't wait to go home.

Btw, today I went to get an earlier return date for my air ticket date. Yeah.. I am going back on December 28 and will be reaching home sweet home on December 29. I guess I am the kind of family person. I actually do miss quarrelling with my sisters on trival matters. Haha. I also miss eating my mum's cooking now. Before coming here, I would try to avoid eating at home because I am so sick of home's food. I also miss my dad. The dad that would do his best for our family. Haiz.. Just imagine that I am overseas alone working, I think I will die of homesickness.

Today I had a mini adventure. Met a china couple who asked my friend and I to help them to get Louis Vuitton wallets. They claimed that they cannot buy because there was a maximum of two products that they could get from the shop. They also said they had bought 2 items from the shop already earlier in the day. Well, my friend said that it was suspicious that they did not hold any LV carriers in their hands. True. Suspicious. I felt it was odd that they passed us a lot of money to help them, about seven hundred euros. And they wanted us to walk in front with them behind but they are so far behind! Like one end of the street to another. It was really odd. By then, I was quite paranoid already. I suddenly thought of what if the money was fake. Then, we will be in deep shit. I want to go home. I don't want to become an international criminal for counterfeit notes. When they passed me the notes, I did not see any shiny security line that seemed to be on euro notes. I warned my friend regarding this matter. She became scared also. In the LV shop, there was a Asian looking lady who was signing her purchases. We asked her whether she has a fifty euro note to see. However, she could not help us as she was buying her stuffs through a credit card and she did not have any notes. I think she told her two friends about this matter. They did not seem like they wanted to help us. Then, my friend suggested to ask the LV sales lady in a tactical manner so that if the money was really real, we wouldn't jeopadise china couple's chance to get the LV wallets. The sales lady advised us that if we thought the money was suspicious, we should return it to the person and say we cannot help. That LV shop did not have any special devices to check the validity of the note. She also said that there has been cases of china couples asking people to help them to get the products with bad money and the police were looking into this area already. Furthermore, LV does not limit how many products a customer can buy. This is quite contradiciting to the usual kind of things I hear from people, even Singaporeans, that each tourist can only get 2 items max from the shop. I am really confused at this point now. Anyway, we returned the notes back to them and they did seem upset that they cannot get the items. Until now, I really don't know whether the money is fake or maybe the money is real but they want to buy more back to sell in china. I guess it pays to be aware of things that might happen anywhere, especially in France. It was quite a scary experience man.
