I was browsing through Mediacorp's news website. One of the new was "Singapore hopes to turn Orchard Road into one of the greatest shopping streets of the world". I am quite skeptical on how they can actually succeed. After my intensive shopping trips in Paris, I don't think our Orchard road can seriously even compare with only just Paris. Not to mention London, their varieties and selection will simply overwelm our shopholic friend here already. I don't even think the sale of stocks move that fast in stores because we don't have four seasons. It's summer all year long. Our currency wise, it may be favorable to big-bucked foreigners. However, Orchard road just lacks too much big retailers and I think Orchard road alone is too short for a shopping paradise. It will take MUCH plannings and investments if Singapore really wants to turn it into one of the greatest shopping streets of the world.

Today was a tiring day. The E-business class was horrendous. It was a straight 3 hours class without any break. Thanks to the Japanese chairman and his sidekick who came. They seriously need to improve their English and learn how to speak louder. As the hours went, my stomach was growling louder and my head was throbbing. I was tired, Song was tired, Mel and Eharn was getting restless too. Haiz. If I can rate this class truthfully, it deserves a 2/10. For the knowledge I gained and the time I wasted listening to the rubbish in class.

Today was also one of my hostel mate's birthday. As usual, all of them cooked except me because of the stupid class. How should I say the food? It was wonderful and so filling. Dinner ended with gossips about each of our love lives, but lucky me didn't need to say much about myself. I didn't know whether if I say it, I will burst out crying on the table. Haha.

Hey, my little one.. I received your mp3s. Thanks a lot! I listened to these songs on 933 and now I have them! Yeah!
