I'm back from Pulau Ubin! Went with G, Strawberry Shortcake and her friend, M. We reached the Changi jetty at about 1.30pm and took a short boat ride to Ubin. The scenery along the boat ride amazed me. I never knew the waters of Singapore looked so beautiful. A few yachts were scattered about the seemingly blue-colored sea and there were quite a lot of families frolicking along the beach area. It's really a wonderful sight. Hey, it's my first time to Ubin. Just let me go wah.. wah.. until I'm enough. Hehe.
We reached the Ubin jetty and proceeded to rent our bikes at $5 each for the entire day. Woah. It isn't it cheap? We cycled around the whole island and explored different parts of Ubin. We visited some quarries on the island. It's a fantastic view up on the cliff, but it's scary to think that people can actually jump off the cliff into the pool below. Our day ended with each of us consuming a big kampong coconut. So big until I can't finish up the entire coconut myself.
Bascially today, I fried myself some more under the scorching sun. It was also so fun that I rode until my butt became sore. Hey, it's still painful now as I sit on my house's sofa typing this blog to share my happening day. Hehe. Will post some photos up later..
