I'm impressed at my school's
price hike committee. From news of petitions being circulated around through email to this committee setup, they have been working very hard for the welfare of our school population. Although I doubt that they can negotiate successfully with my school to reduce the price hike, the committee has already helped to improve the process of communication to the students. I applaude them for that. Looking at the student dialogue excerpts with the university's President, it somehow made me feel that the dialogue was just arranged for show to tell us why the price hike. Can our bargaining power any more than that? Are we just silent lambs waiting to be slaughter?
