It's my blabbing time again! Hee...
Went to visit my long-awaited orthodontics specialist. Upon reaching there, I discovered that the nurse that I paged for forgot to register my name under my dentist's schedule and they didn't even prepare my file. Booboo~

However, I was lucky because.. My dentist still wanted to see me. It's a she.. And she's seemed very motherly and patient enough to tell me about my condition. The nurse that took my X-rays was cute! She asked me where I rebonded my hair, told me how some guys can be so sissy wearing a slightly heavier X-ray jacket and basically took me through the entire steps of getting the X-rays done so patiently. Woah.. I'm impressed at how our healthcare "angels" are so caring and professional. Haa!
My dentist also took the mound of my teeth, which tasted quite yucky in my mouth. When she put the upper mound into my mouth, I almost vomited. Luckily, she asked whether I'm okay. I did a "I'm-going-to-vomit" sign. Haha. She quickly tried to make me adjust to a better sitting position whereby the vomiting sensation really disappeared.
After that, a nurse took me to the dental surgery department where I met my dental surgeon to arrange for wisdom tooth removal. Guess how many teeth I have to take out? ....
Lucky number - Eight!

Arrghhh! Sounds scary right? Haha.. 4 wisdom tooths and 4 normal tooths. And... Furthermore, I have to go under general anesthesia because I'll probably die from pain if I opt for local anesthesia. *Shivers* Yes, it's scary. I'm scared, but I'm determined to get through this because I'm dreaming of having a nicer smile.. =)
I have to say that it's amazing to see the X-rays of your own head and teeth. Haha.. I'm amazed to see how my wisdom tooths look like and how horrendously big they were. The dental surgeon took out a red marker and circled while saying, "You have to extract this, that, that and that". Haa.. You can see my eyes practically growing smaller from shock. Well well, she's going to take out my 8 tooths one shot that day. Woohoo.. I'll become a "Boh-gay" after that. Haha..
I hadn't had any operations in my life yet. Although it's just wisdom tooth removal, this will be the most major "operations" so far. I don't want to think of the even major one - jaw surgery - yet. It's confirmed another general anesthesia. Haha..
I hadn't completed all my consultations today. Was supposed to visit the Anesthesia doctor, but I had to rush off to meet Poohgal and Mr J. for vocal lessons. Probably I'll go back next week.. Before my lucky date, April 20, comes..
After vocal lessons.. SS, Poohgal, Mr J. and I attended Prof Loh's event where Mountbatten Community Centre was signing memorandum with Singapore Lyric Opera (SLO). You must be thinking why.. Because he wanted us to set up a consitutency band some time later? Hurhurhur.. I don't know when and how. Lau pa was supposed to come, but he didn't. Looks like all of us are depending on him now. He's the only one who has the credibility and capability to do it. Hee.. The kids in SLO can really sing OpErA~ Now, I agree with AB.. It's really impressive what comes out of opera singers' mouths. Haha.. Oh, I also had the honour to shake a Member of Parliment's hand and encountered a pastor who tried to introduce us his church. Haha.. Weird ah..
Oh well, my day has been exciting.. All together weird, scary and funny.. =P
