My dear blog readers.. Here I am to blog again. Haha.. After so long..

Okay, I haven't blogged because I had recently been working part time at a medical assistance company. After staring at the office computer for 9 hours a day, my eyes really can't take it to stare at my dear laptop for another few hours. This accounts for my missing appearance. Haha. Speaking of my job, it is quite interesting as I help the doctors to build emergency procedure reports. Of course, I don't plan the reports. I merely help to collate all the information on hand. I do get to learn quite a lot of things I wasn't aware of in my life until now. PLUS, I get to see angmo doctors with electrifying blue eyes everyday. Woohoo~ Haha. Overall, it's a nice job..

On the 8th of June, I finally got my braces! Yeah yeah! I arrived promptly at 11 am in the morning to Alexandria Hospital. Stepping into the dentist's room, the nurse waved for me to sit down on the dentist's chair (Keke.. No idea what it's called). My dentist was so nice as she actually asked if I felt cold. I replied yes and she asked the nurse to bring me a blanket to cover my body. This IS really good service. Then, she said she would polish my teeth before she put the brackets on my teeth. Haha.. My hands did trembled a little after seeing all the equipments that she was going to stick into my mouth. Trembling underneath the blanket, the braces procedure begun. I couldn't see what she did. I could only remember looking up at the ceiling light for an hour plus until I felt really sleepy and I figured that if I slept it would be really rude. Haha. All was fine until she connected the wire to the brackets as it caused my teeth to feel really tight. My gums did bled a little, for it's due to my improper way of brushing my teeth. She reminded me that I had to keep special care of my teeth and there were 3 forbiddens - no sweet/sticky/hard foods. Oh well, this means no potato chips. Hee.. But, it's good for me to slim.

Until here, it's not the end of the story of my braces adventure. My teeth felt progressively painful as the day went on. The treat that my boss gave me at the restaurant during that afternoon after putting braces quite went to a waste because I couldn't bite even into fish meat. I basically swallowed down all my food without chewing. My teeth were numbed and painful. My only consolation is that I can still drink coffee. Hurhurhur.. Second day was hell because my teeth ached from morning till night and I had to pop panadols to stop the pain momentarily. Swallowing chicken porridge was difficult. By the third day, my teeth had started to adjust to this new braces. Although no pain persisted, I still couldn't bite into anything. Fourth day, no pain and swallowing food is still the way to keep me alive. Haa.. I'll update again when I can finally chew my food.

Salsa class on friday was a funny affair. It had been so hilarious that I laughed until my classmates asked if I was all right. Thanks to Mr. E - the clown aka. salsa soloist. The attempts to converse in french and funny acts left me laughing hard. The last straw came when he twirlled me around and my hair got caught in his watch and... Some of my hair got torn off. Half of the hair length. We were both stunned and burst out laughing. Madness.. I think the salsa instructor was "buay tahan" of our laughters that when finally we changed partners, the laughters stopped and the whole class was less disrupted. Haha.. Anyway, I think this mad laughter really loosen up the tightness in my braces on the third day.

And today, SS and I acted like secondary school kids because we went to squeeze in with all the crowd to catch the free "YES 933 FM Concert" at Ngee Ann Civic Plaza with the ultimate aim to catch a glimspe of JJ! Wooo.. Yes, we did finally see him after standing on our feet for like 4 hours. Hehe. Let me drool over him here. He looked really cute with his small eyes and white outfit of his album. He walked in the wrong direction to his dressing tent and smiled in our direction. *Dreamz* SS and I positively melted on the spot. Hehe. He's really a talented guy, for he could play the keyboard and imitate his beloved "Ah Du" senior's singing. Wow wow. Haha.. I haven't did this kind of things since secondary days. It would be the second and last time that I think I'll ever have time and opportunity to do such activity. Hehehe..

I've typed enough now and it's time to rest. So LONG till I typed again..
