Officially yesterday is my last day of temporary jobs. Maybe ever in my life. After 2 days of training and a month of "self-help", I'm supposed to transmit my knowledge to an indian auntie who has to learn everything from me in 9 hours. For the whole morning, my mouth was like a machine gun and I barely even find time to gulp down my favourite cup of coffee. I don't know how she's going to survive the rest of her days in the office alone struggling with the reports and figuring how to even save, cut and paste files in the dinosaur Window NT 2000. As she had flexible timing for work, she announced she wanted to go home at 5pm because I think she could not take all the information bombardment anymore. Haha. Good luck man..

There will be a few people in the office that I'll miss.. Like dear Gary, who is a hilarious, nice, friendly and middle aged caucasian. He really made me feel very welcomed and de-stressed with his jokes. My bosses, Siow Yen and Siew Ping, who are super duper caring and nice people. I must say that this company really has a very nice culture and thus, many nice people around.

After work, dinner was at Sakae Sushi with Poohgal and the rest of the gang. Later in the night, we actually went to Hark Music Cafe to chill out. The place was really nicely decorated like its theme "Garden". The seats are really comfortable, making me want to sink in and snooze. Ordered my cuppa of Latte, which was refillable. But, I still have some self control. Had only 1 kopi that night. Hee..

Managed to catch my vocal teacher to sing "Eternal Flame" and a super old duet song "Qin Shan" (I think.. Haha..) with another guy who is guitar teacher. First time hearing my teacher sing made me agreed that she's really better at teaching. =P

Here's the interesting bit. I must say that the guitar teacher was really SMART sia. As he was tired from singing alone up there, he suddenly announced that the current Hark Music students should go up there and perform.

WaHHhhh.. *Sweat*

Then, He said on the stage to my teacher, "Call your students up. I remember down there got a student who sang 'Yue Guang' at the audition the last time".

*Sweat AgaIn*

Because it's me...... Jialat.. I have no idea this 'Yue Guang' stayed in the minds of people for so long.

Anyway, Poohgal and I both went up to sing after the whole gang and the teachers all "encouraged" to go up and sing. This time round, the "Yue Guang" was terrible because we forgot the lyrics. Haha.. Sang and stopped. Sang and stopped. Same for the "Yu Jian" by Sun Yan Zi. Oops.. We are not prepared at all. Lucky this cafe at that time had quite little number of people because it's new.

This will stay in my box of memories - the day that I paid money to go and sweat in a cafe. Haha..
