Given that I'm someone who hates to deliberately mingle in a new group of people, the outing with my mentor group yesterday ended quite okay.
Bearable actually..
Although there are very nice individuals, there is also a particular self-obsessed individual.
His proclaimation that he himself sings like Jackie Cheung in Snow Wolf Lake really made me wanna laugh at him.
His so-called singing was all these mindless shoutings into the the microphone.
It seriously irritated me. A lot.
I guess one can just get a certain kind of negative first impression of how he's like normally.
Sorry to say.. I just hope that I don't get any jobs under him.

Just went to Alexandria Hospital (AH) again to tighten my braces.
And for this appointment, I have to trot out of my house 1 hour and 15 minutes earlier just to travel there..
Because based on past experiences, the bus number 153 takes forever to come on weekends and I was always late for my dental appointments. Haiz..
Finally today, I was early by 10 minutes.
Thank goodness.. Because if I'm late, I'll have to wait until the orthodontist is free before she'll be able to attend to me again.
This AH is really so near yet so far.
Haha.

August really has a lot of birthday babies.
Grandma, Poohgal and today.. My Dad's birthday!
Celebration was small and simple with a nice birthday cake and KFC that I sponsored out of my first paycheck.
No choice lah, I'm still a small and poor employee..
