The Superstar's competition is finally over and WL won. Congratuations to him. No doubt that my top choice in this case did not win, I still hope the best for WL. Hope his singing career can fly and showcase to everybody his talents. My Superstar withdrawal symptoms has been surfacing recently. I'm still eagerly digging for news about Superstar competition. I must comment that this is the 1st television show that ever got me so worked up and excited over everything about it. Haa. Anyway, hopefully JY will get his offers for recording contracts soon and fulfill his dream finally.
Okay, now to me being the "Superstar" in the cafe of my music school. Keke.. I'm very touched that 7 people, including Hougang gang and their friends, who actually came down and supported my 1st attempt in performance. Erm.. If you think I really performed like a superstar from the tv, I need to qualify my capabilities first. I'm just a small small vocal class begineer who had just finished her 1st stage of vocal class. It isn't possible given my current lousy standard. Hee~ My 1st song was all right, but my 2nd song fell apart due to some "unconcious" reasons. My mind went blanked after the 2nd sentence of the 1st verse. Bleah~ Hee.. I stared at my lyrics and attempted to continue again, but after a while my mind blanked out. Again. According to my friends, my vocal teacher actually scurried out of the bar counter and looked at how I was doing up on the stage. I did finished singing the song in the end.
Heng ah.. Comments from the floor really flattered me a lot because an audience who is a guy said he liked what I sang and I looked cute up there. This really makes me feel like I'm an eighteen year old. Wahaha..

Just some reflections on this performace, I think I had improved a little. In the past, if you put me on the stage to sing, I'll freeze up and my hands would tremble non-stop. This time round, I was quite concious that I wasn't overly frightened but still a little nervous. Hee.. Singing wise, I dare not comment but no doubt I'll still have room for lots of improvement. I guess my plans for my next stage of vocal lessons would be to continue in my current school in the intermediate level.
By the way, sweet SS actually presented me with a small bouquet of flowers and gave me a hug before I started to sing my 1st song. I wasn't expecting this.. Totally. It's so sweet and nice of her. Thanks gal!

Here's a picture of the beautiful flowers..
Oh yeah, Pretty Sunflower and I are considering to join our Company's very own singing idol competition during the D&D at the end of the year. It really sounds fun. Not that I think I'll win or something, the experience that comes along with it should be very rewarding. Hee..
