In less than 2 hours, weekend will be offically over. Again.
It's been a really busy week.
My average working hours has just hit 12 hours a day..
and not counting the hours that I sometimes have to put in at home on weekends..
At this rate of working OT, I might have a chance at taking longer TOIL hours to rest during the off-peak period.
By then, I can sit home, shake legs and still receive my pay.
Muahahaha..
Anyway, dreaming of taking time to rest thoroughly is still a long long time away.
I shall work hard till the day comes..
Seriously, I'm starting to wonder if audit is what I wanna do for the next few years.
To live with unnecessary stress bugging your thoughts everyday is not a very healthy way to live.
At least not to my values and direction of life.
Also, I can't help agreeing with sunflowergal's repetition of what cranberrymist said..
What is the tight deadline for? It's not even a medical situation.
Not like someone is going to die if I can't finish my audit.
Haa.
If I should correct the common mistake of mis-using the word "deadline", it should be dateline.
I'm not going to be dead.
Well, you can say..
Work is like that what.. All the never-ending work to finish everyday. Where to find a work that does not have stress?I think if you are happy with your job and environment, you'll be happy and willing to be "stressed".
If not, everyday will be a drag.
Luckily for me, my colleagues so far are a cheery bunch and luckily, not a bitching crowd.
My days are still good. Just a little stressed.
Let's just see how long I can hang on to this job.
Went to catch "In Her Shoes" yesterday with my sister.
Was initally deciding between oogling at hunky Orlando Bloom in Elizabethtown or to watch a film about shoes and sisters..
Haha. The shoes won.
And the movie was really a nice one.
Would rate it 7.5 out of 10.
And damn.. I keep thinking about buying shoes nowadays.
High heels are the prettiest invention for women. Ever. Haha.
By the way, I'm a shoes destroyer.
I've some strange problem with walking.
Haiz. Any cure for that? Hahaha..
Oh yeah, I've bought like dunno how many pairs of shoes recently.
And there's no place for me to ever store them and I'm still thinking of buying.
Argh. Woes of being a woman.
=P
